Maman Cacao ~ A Heart Led Mission
At Maman Cacao, our mission is deeply rooted in love, reverence, integrity and the sacred power of community. My name is Nicole Jones, and for several years, I have been called by something far greater than myself to bring the heart-opening medicine of cacao to this part of the world. My beautiful journey has taken me across continents, from India and Bali to Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Croatia, Portugal and Italy. Along the way, I experienced many workshops, yoga trainings, and retreats, but the presence of cacao kept returning to my path, like an invisible thread weaving my story together.
Though I didn't fully understand the call at first, cacao began to speak to me, sending me clear signs that I could no longer ignore. There was a moment where it clicked and I just knew I had to share this sacred medicine with my community in Montreal, Quebec, and beyond. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege to serve ceremonial cacao to those who feel called to its transformative capacity.
The journey of cacao from seed to cup is nothing short of magical. From the small seed that becomes a tree, to the delicate flower that eventually gives birth to fruit, each step in the process is a testament to the wisdom and devotion that Pachamama (Mother Earth) pours into this sacred gift. With every sip, you can feel the love that has gone into bringing this medicine to life.
In a world that thrives on speed and convenience, ceremonial cacao calls us to pause and welcome pure presence. Maman Cacao invites us to slow down and remember the sacredness of the process and the immense care that goes into cultivating this plant medicine. It reminds us to honour the devotion, the wisdom, and the loving touch that has been poured into every single bean.
Cacao has been a bridge to my heart. It has deepened the connection to my body, intuition, heart, soul and to Spirit. It has opened me up to a more compassionate and grounded approach to life. In working with cacao, I have uncovered parts of my heart I didn’t even know existed, and it has amplified my connection to nature in profound ways.
It is with this deep reverence and gratitude that I now share this beautiful medicine with you. My hope is that Maman Cacao will gift you the same treasures that it has given me — love, connection, intuition, and most of all, a renewed sense of presence in your life.
